End of Summer Details

You know the end of summer is near because Summer Reading 2013 is complete.

We will be drawing prize winners later during the week of August 12th.

Winners will be contacted by August 19th.

If you met your Summer Reading goal, please stop by the library to pick up your reward!

We are on a program break from August 12th - September 2nd to prepare to kick-off a great fall!

beginning at 7:30 pm and ending at 9 am

A special event for kids entering 3rd, 4th, & 5th in the coming school year.  Event requires registration and a parental permission slip.

We have a great night planned of fun and excitement!

Gearing up for Summer

We've been busy preparing for Summer Reading.  We have visited Moore, Elroy and St. Sylvester Elementary Schools; we've sent home flyers with all the students; we've booked programs; and ordered supplies.  

However, there is still A LOT to do.  Starting on Monday, May 27th through June 14th we will be  taking a programming break.  

We'll be back with our summer programming schedule on June 14th's Summer
Reading Kick-Off.  More details to come!

March Family Storytime

 

 Wednesday, March 6th at 6:30 is our Family Storytime.  March is the time to celebrate...St. Patrick's Day, the beginning of Spring and BIRTHDAYS!  At Family Storytime this month we will be celebrating famous childrens' authors and artists that we love.  

 

Dr. Seuss' birthday is on the 2nd, Bill Martin Jr. (author of over 300 children's books including Chicka Chicka Boom Boom), Doreen Cronin (Click, Clack Moo: Cows That Type), and our very own Mr. Rogers!

Come and join the fun!  There will even be birthday cake!!!
